Large and Rare English Regency rosewood inlaid and paint decorated lift top sewing or document box with lower drawer, Circa 1795 -1800. This fine example has an elaborate decorated top section of Mother and child at play motif surrounded by Classical decorated stencil design around the lid of top section, and a lower single drawer. The box has its original gilt brass handles and elaborate ball feet typical of the finer examples. Salmon pink paper lined interior.
